We are excited to announce significant updates to the new version of Cyberix3D!
New Features:
2D Objects – Added support for Image and Label objects with true font rendering, allowing you to create HUD elements and in-game text. You can also control their visibility in the editor with the Show 2D checkbox
Objects under Camera Controller – You can now add objects under the Camera Controller so they move with the camera. Try it in the FPS Game example – you can see the gun and shoot! Note: there is still an issue with bullet positioning at certain angles that we are working on fixing
Collision for Group & Model – You can now add collision to Group and Model objects
RotateTowards – The RotateTowards action has been added and is now available in the new engine
Force & Impulse with Target Object – Apply physics forces towards other objects in your game
Performance & Stability:
Incremental Game Loading – Games now load gradually to prevent the browser from freezing while loading large games
Fixed Memory Leaks – Improved memory management when removing objects
Improved Loader UI – Better loading experience with progress feedback
Editor Improvements:
Command Palette – Easily add objects and commands visually using the new Command Palette (or right-click Context Menu). On mobile, a new + button opens the Command Palette without interfering with editing, making the most of limited screen space
Dynamic Block Addition – You can now add blocks without the entire game reloading
Mobile Improvements:
Improved Mobile Controls – Game controllers on mobile have been reorganized and now support multi-touch, so you can move and jump at the same time for example
