I am trying to see how to do it because I need a model from one game to put into another

go through the files of the game you want to get a model from, try to find it, if you cant, look for it online, if you find the model make sure its in awd, obj md5 format, if not install blender and export the model in obj format

You can do by copying the relevant source from one project into another.
